When are you going to die?

Scarry Stuff Just came across a website which claims to calculate the day you’ll die. Obviously it is a silly joke but…never say never… :)

Actually “When am I going to die?” is quite an interesting question. I wonder if people will know when it’s the last day of their life…how would that be? would you preffer to know in order to sort out everything you ever wanted? would that make life more precious? Tons of other questions…

Now let’s go back to the site in cause and let’s check the “Death Meter:) It seems that my “Armageddon Day” is… October, 14, 2055 ! Another 48 years…quite a lot, isn’t it? Plenty time to write a few more reviews so watch your back ! :)

There is also a note on the site saying: “This is just for entertainment and we are strongly against anyone taking serious actions based on the results of the death meter!” Well, this is what I call a H.E.L.L. of entertainment :)

Ok, let’s have some fun now! Please check your “big day” and post a comment with your results. Let’s see who’s getting closer! :) (Take it easy, please…or take some Valium first, you know…just in case :) )

Abducted by Libdronians

Libdronians are not aliens. They are not fishes, plants or trees… In fact they are library drones , a tiny tribe of homo sapiens, living on the other side of The Thin Red Line . A few days back I’ve been voluntarly abducted (oh, really? :) ) by Alan, the drone emperor, and “one of the oodles of bears in the Pacific Northwest”.
Once I get there I realised in no time why the drones are keep coming back to their nest, the libdrone blog. If reading a book is a necessity for any educated person, reading a book review is more important as it helps to decide what book to read. The layout, the colours, makes from Libdronia a pleasant place to satisfy your book-ish needs.

From “Monday Muddling” to “Guns, Friends and Fears” , everything it’s “Sweet, Spicy and Saucy” no matter how hard I tried to find a little nasty thing to comment. The posts are friendly, easy and well written and that’s not a compliment by the way… The Blogosphere should be proud to have this blog around (well, that’s a compliment! :) )

This was a happy and lucky abduction as I just found a new blog to visit from time to time. I’ve left Libdronia, but not before checking the Alexa rankings…hmm…sad question… why does the good blogs get always less traffic than the crappy ones?

Well done, Alan! Keep up the good work!

A lame excuse

Lame News To get the latest Lame News you’ll need to be a healthy person otherways your heart will crack straight away. Funny little stories from “Holy Smokes…” to “The Nuclear(powered) Family” you’ll find out how the Poles saw the silhouette of Pope John Paul II in a bonfire and how bionic love will save the planet.

You’ll also need your swimsuit to get the Lame News. You’ll definately need to swim a long way through the adsense and affiliate sea in order to find the best posts out there. Take it this way: Banner on top, adsense under RSS, adsense again under Labels, affiliate crap, more adsense and then more affiliate crap. After five minutes of scrolling down, I finally found the “Contact” form, guess where? just above the footer! Footer? Don’t start me :) … obviously another adsense banner in the footer and the Boob Tube huge screen with little videos (affiliate?)

I wonder if Lame News is not just a lame excuse to promote adsense and affiliate crap? I hope not… the posts are funny and that would be a shame…

Here is the trophy for Lame News!

Click on it! It’s only a picture! :)

The Story of Stories-2-tell

Stories 2 (to/two) tell “No trees were killed in the making of this blog. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced”.

This is how the story of Stories-2-tell begins… Don’t know about the trees or electrons but some of my neurons were terribly inconvenienced… You see…I hate 2’s, 1’s, 4’s, u’s, gr8’s and all this crap…it might be right for the story of a slang-ster, who knows… I never understood why people would replace letters with numbers, it always proves a lack of creativity - instead of coming with something special, let’s throw a 1, 2 or 4! By the way…if you can’t spell FUN, can you spell 2 (not two or to) instead? Words are to be spelled and misspelled sometimes, this is the beauty of the language. Numbers - just strictly mathematical, no poetry, no meanings…

The story of “2-tell” is simple… Between Your Friday Smile and a Pre-school Test for You, a lady monkey hangs around with a box of Godiva Chocolates…yummy! What do I have to do to get one too? :) Funny little stories inspired from real life is that I like to read (well, sometimes)…and then I saw the “Recipro-Links”…not less than 28!!! That makes the blog a sort of sad link farm and “Thinking Back“, all the charm of those little stories seems to disappear .

100 things about me (again numbers? - why not one hundred?) is a must read for every visitor. Why? Because it tells you what do you need to know about the owner in 15 things, what you don’t need to know in another 15 and what you are not interested to know in the rest of 70. It’s like a “Marry me”- “To do - to have -to get” list…pointless to say the owner, she’s already married and you’ll only get a piece of virtual Godiva chocolate for your efforts…

Just clicked on the “Close” button with the same question in mind… Can you spell 2?

SEO Cake

SEO Cake Nusuni.com is a “SEO and blogging resource for all”. Fine. Wait, really? Then what the hell is a cake doing in there? It’s like JohnChow writing on his blog about pregnant women or Problogger writing about Ice Age… Something stinks around and it’s not the cake… Let’s check the SEO part and keep the cake for later…
Hats off to this guy! One of the most informative blogs I ever visited(well, except the cake thing)! I really enjoyed The four dimensions of a link portofolio, and do you know why? because it is a guest post written by someone else :) ! Hmmm…closer look…I think I will retract the “Hats off”. There are about 18 categories, to many for my patience…looks like this guy is a kind of Dr.Who - I know this, and this, and that, and this as well… Some miscellaneous stuff made me smile. Especially this one which is a good and funny read.

Ok, I’m going straight to the cake post now, it might be about cream optimization, who knows? :)Blogs are like cakes” he said. No s**t, how come? “My whole point with this article is that a cake that is missing a part or contains some horrible flavor won’t be as popular as a cake with perfect frosting, perfect cake mixture, etc. A blog layout that has fluffy bunnies running all over it or contentz thatz iz writ lik thes simply won’t be as popular as a blog that has a good layout and good content. The concept is pretty much the same, but it works for two completely different items.” Oh, really? Then I can say blogs are like flowers, or sky, or dinosaurs, or anything else…I’m sure I’ll find some good points… I’ll tell you what…”A blog (a portmanteau of web log) is a website where entries are written in chronological order and commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. “Blog” can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.” God bless Wikipedia for that. Amen!

Let’s check the “About” page…I’m sure it will be something like…”Hey, I’m Jeremy and I love baking cakes while I do link building!” Wrong. I’m a bit dissapointed, it’s not like that, but hey, this is the best page of the blog! Let me explain…instead of the classic stuff which everyone writes in there, Jeremy choosed to answer his own questions pretending that someone else asked all those things! :)) How convenient, isn’t it?

Leaving the jokes aside (that’s why I’m here, right?) Jeremy’s blog is one of the most informative “cakes” I ever tasted and I would recommend you to taste a bit too… And now let’s give Jeremy a trophy for his outstanding work -the winner always gets something, right?… ladies and gents, The Golden Cake goes to… :)

The Golden Cake

Linkbait of the Year Everyone knows about the so called “RSS contest” between the evil marketing master, Shoemoney, aka “Send me a T-Shirt in exchange for a link” and the Lord of the Taverns, John Chow, aka “I’ll eat your money in the finest restaurants and I’ll show you how”.

Beer :) with me for a minute and I’ll tell you why there is actually no contest between them but an evil marketing campaign meant to attract thousands of subscribers and to create a “buzz” from which guess who’s going to benefit?

Both of them launched contests for their army of subscribers, but guess what? None of them is actually paying a cent thanks to their faithful readers. Free prizes? Yeah, baby! Free advertising? Sure, why not? Here is Shoemoney’s contest and here is Chow’s - freebies for everyone!

Do you really think it’s just a contest? Do you think they care who’s gonna win? Naah… at the end they are both winners with thousands of extra subscribers, no one loose from this mad linkbait campaign. People subscribe, people write about, people link, people pay for prizes…and the winners are…

Manipulating masses it’s the key to success these days, no matter if it’s politics, media, television or online marketing. They both know that but what about you, faithful followers? They’ll tell you how to make money knowing that you’ll never be able to and you know why? Because the circle is closed up there and they won’t let you in. Sad but bloody true… That’s why I’m writing this blog…perhaps I should start telling you how to make money…would that be more successful? Naah…I just can’t lie…

What the box is that?

I recently visited MyBoxPro.com . When I saw the name I was expecting to find a site about professional boxing or paper boxes or something similar…but No! This guy is blogging about laptops! I said, what the box is that? laptops? hmm…

I even asked the little dog in the picture his opinion about the site, hmm… a bit nasty, isn’t it? MyBoxPro.com offers the latest news for notebook users…let’s see… “Where’ my laptop radio?” - I think you just forgot an “s” (Where’s) lol…that’s quite a bad beginning :) What else, what else…hahaha…”MyE-zines” page is “currently under construction”! People don’t like “under construction” pages and I would recommend to set up that page when you really have something to say…

Let’s have a look at the “i AM i” page so we’ll know better who’s behind this blog. Izzy the geeky guy, who wants “to spread the word on Info Technology to the masses, keeping them up-to-date with the latest in the info tech world.” Oh gosh, I hope there is no connection between you and the Psychodiabolix commentator :)

Good parts, bad parts (to much adsense and affiliate crap) , MyBoxPro.com offers really useful info for notebook lovers. Here is your trophy, Izzy! Don’t mind the naughty little dog - you know the animals always tell us the truth :)

Dating a natural woman

Natural Woman Dating a natural woman has been my dream since I was 14. I still remember the first date with my biology teacher…I was 17 and she was 32…first date…and then 2 years together …but that’s another story :)

She calls herself a Natural Woman and I’m going to discover why. Just clicked on her blog and I could smell the fresh, mountain perfume, from her banner. So far so good, I said… the clean layout and colours makes this a perfect dating place. She was just asking why does it takes so long to get a copy of a magazine subscription?…silly conversation I thought while smiling…why does it takes so long to cure the world from poverty? Much better question…

She said, “Two wrongs don’t make a right“. I love her style, but not even half a wrong makes a quarter of right so…wrong again :) then clicked on “About Me” page. Every man wants to find out more, right? Especially when it comes to a natural woman… “I have been knowing myself all my life and for some reason when I am asked the question, “so tell me about yourself” an answer just does not come rolling off my tongue. I literally have to think.”, she said. So true, too true…

I’ve left her blog with the lights swiched on…just to make sure that I’ll be back some day…

Meghna, do your homework!

Do your homework! I just realized that is way harder to write bad reviews than good ones, funny reviews than serious ones…

Meghna is a 12 years old girl blogging about creative writing, humor, school, stories, poetry, fiction, fantasy, children, books and all the other usual crap. I bet she’s gonna start blogging about love in a couple of years and about politics when she grows up!

Now how the hell I can write a review without hurting a 12 years old girl? Listen you cheeky little angel, go back to your homework instead of blogging, will you?

Funny or not the blog is better than many other blogs created by the “specialists” and “how to make money” gurus, which proves how smart are the kids today.

How a cow has been sent to jail or why the bee doesn’t take a bath are not quite my favourite subjects but here comes an interesting one: Ants in the pants!!! - OMG, I bet they teach you at school about ants but what about the … “in the pants”, part? You’ll better leave it for when you’ll grow up a bit, honestly… (the “in the pants” , I mean)…

Now be good girl and do your homework. Your blog it’s fine and no matter how much I try to find something bad,…nope… :) Here it is, a little award for you, go tell your mummy!

Otaku and the Bad Santa

Just came across Otaku-Anonymous and realised how little I know about the subject. I knew it’s something to do with cartoons but I had to search on Wikipedia to find out more setails.

“Otaku is a derisive Japanese term used to refer to people with obsessive interests, particularly anime and manga.”(Wikipedia”) OMG people with obsessive interests…let’s give a lesson to the Bad Santa!

The fact that the owner asked to be slaughtered (well, reviewed), couldn’t make me happier :) The header has nothing to do with the blog and the blog has nothing to do with the domain name. I can’t see that bridge being related with the content somehow and also the content with Otaku-Anonymous! Wtf, I said…is this another joke-blog? The Bad Santa is doing silly jokes again?

Talking about transformers and Darius McCrary isn’t the right thing to do or I might miss something… Dohh, the loving lady offers first aid to the exhausted turtle-ninja, that should be the coolest thing on the blog! What else? Hmmm…not much as I’m not planning to review the adsense code or the BlogRush widget. Someone tell this guy that content is the key, please! Hard to write anything else…ahh…the footer has to be reviewed too… ” Otaku.Anon usa mySimplified un tema construido a partir de Simplified Theme por José María Morales Vázquez Página generada tras 27 consultas en 9.007 segundos.” - I hope you all understood the message :)

Here is my little gift for Otaku (I’m not going to give a trophy as I couldn’t find any crappy image) but listen to that Otaku master in the video and ask yourself, wtf is Otaku?

All clear now? :)
