Have you ever heard of the term duplicate content? It simply means the same written content, video and audio appearing on different websites online. Does this really affect your search engine rankings? Can it be said that in truth, you are likely to get your website banned by any of the big search engines like Google –who doesn’t want to be on their listing!- Yahoo and MSN if you use any content that has been used anywhere else online? Yes and no.

I’ll start with the first which is yes. Duplicate content can hurt your website ranking and possible get you banned if you are using the same content as gazillions of websites are. This is where contents like private label rights articles can affect your website. Your website gets banned when the search engine bots encounter the same content on many websites. At that point, it looks like spam to them. Thus, making them flag the websites.

The “No” aspect is this: Research has shown that if the same content is found on as many as 20 websites, the search engines will not suspect a thing. While this is duplicate content, the truth is it is still under the radar. Therefore, your website will never get banned nor will your search engine rankings be affected. So, now that you know this, you would have to be very careful when choosing articles for article directories to add to you website.

I personally prefer getting the less viewed articles, as they seem to less used. Then, add my recommendations and thoughts before introducing the writer and his content. If you take your time to look through article directories, you will find well thought out and well written articles that do not have a lot of readership simply because they have got a boring title or the articles just weren’t keyword rich.

Sometimes you go to a public library or any other place where you can use a shared computer, and you are going to realize that, maybe the last person using the computer didn’t log out.

And what is the reason to be alarmed? People can be victims of identity theft or even account numbers, credit cards numbers and any other information that is valuable for you.

But not only for those type of information also it could be a problem for your Face book, Hi-5, and even your e-mail account, and this one is a little more serious because you may have information that not only concerns you but also friends and even family members.

All our life, we have been taught by our parents, friends, and the media the same thing. Go to school. Get good grades so that you can get into the best colleges or universities around. If you follow that then you can get a good job. You will be set for life. Not really true….with job cuts, corporate restructuring, and layoffs still being reported in the news almost every single day, it is not surprising that this concept of life isn’t really true any more.

A lot of people are now looking to start their own business so that they can have more financial security, more freedom, more choices, and more time to be with their family. As the economy continues to plummet and layoffs and bankruptcies fill the news, isn’t it your time to take the bull by the horns and secure your and your family’s financial future?

Here are 6 steps that you need to follow in order for you to be a successful network marketer:

1.	You got to have patience.

They don’t say 2-5 years for nothing. Many new people who do get involved in network marketing think that they will make a nice comfortable full time income in just a few months. Very few do that, but it will take you some time. So make sure that you give your business at least 2 years to succeed. If you don’t, you are on the right track to failure.

2.	They have the persistence of a bulldog.

The lack of persistence and consistency is one of the major causes of failure. Many people are good starters but very poor finishers of everything they start. They tend to give up at the first sign of defeat. Successful network marketers know that it is important to be persistent and consistent even though they work hard and don’t see any results for a while.

3.	They set goals.

Athletes, successful business-people, lawyers, doctors, and great achievers in all fields use goal setting. Statistics show people who write down their goals have over an 80% higher success rate of achieving them.

4.	They set short-term goals.

Short-term goals are usually simpler and easier than long-term goals.

Why? Well, writing them can help you have more frequent victories, and building momentum with each one you complete. If you do that, you can have more excitement and more motivation as you reach those goals on time. When you do reach you short-term goals, don’t forget to reward yourself and celebrate.

5.	They write down their why.

Why did they really get into network marketing for? What made them start their own business? Is it because they wanted to be their own boss? Is it because they wanted more freedom and time to spend with their family? More money? What ever their why is, they always know it so that it keeps them going when things are not going well for them.

6.	They replace their negative self-talk.

They know that they are the creator of their thoughts and beliefs. Successful network marketers know how to replace negative self-talk and change it to positive self-talk. People, especially friends and family, try to brain wash them along the way. They tell them that they will not succeed. They laugh at them. They tease them that it won’t work. But they don’t listen. They work their business and make it work. At the end they become so successful that family and friend evantually join them too.

Year after year, the performances of our laptops continue to make extraordinary leaps forward. The capacities of calculation and of storage evolve in a phenomenal manner. Yet the laptops autonomy while improving does not progress the same manner. In five years, average autonomy of our notebooks was multiplied by two. Despite these advances, the nomadic user wants more. Is it possible to extend the autonomy of his laptop? Which components do have the biggest influence on performances? What can you do to extend to extend your laptop autonomy?

In contrast to what one could sometime think, the battery builders do their best to maximize autonomy. It’s a consistent fight in between autonomy progress and more energy demanding laptops. Despite the manufacturers’ efforts, it is presently difficult to obtain autonomy any higher than four hours on a standard notebook. This value remains comparatively weak facing the current needs. It is therefore important to maximize all avenues to ensure that your laptop autonomy is at its best. To guide you in this venture, we will approach the different solutions of economy of energy. To start, we will enumerate the basic principles that it is important to respect. In other articles we will review other important elements tied to your laptop battery, how you can adjust Windows, special software and additional peripherals.

First things first, let’s review some basic autonomy savers.

1) Make sure that your laptop doesn’t overheat

When in use, the ventilation orifices must not be obstructed. An overheating would induce inevitably a growth of the electric consumption. If the laptop is old, it will be able to be wise to clean these gates. Remove papers and other items that maybe on the laptop keyboards (if you are using a separate keyboard). At last, note that to obtain an optimum autonomy, it will be necessary to avoid using or to store your laptop in a surrounding too cold (less than 45F/10°C) or too hot (more of 85F/35°C).

2) Use the right drivers, and to update them

As each knows it, to manage an interface (generally material) or a peripheral, an operating system needs a software called drivers. With a laptop, the usage of optimized drivers is particularly important. Without that, Windows could be incapable to manage the variable frequency of a processor (central processor or graphic processor) or all other method of economy of energy. To find recent drivers, go to the manufacturer website for your laptop.

3) Defragment your hard drive regularly

The fragmentation means that the data of a same file (a picture or a document text for example) find themselves disseminated to several places of a hard disc. At the time of the opening of a fragmented file, the head of reading of the disc will have therefore to do many movements to collect the “pieces” of shed files on the disc surface. This phenomenon induces an excess use of the hard drive that therefore decreases autonomy. To avoid this problem, think about to defragment your disc when your computer is plugged in to a power outlet.

4) Operating System updates

Operating systems bugs are consistently being fixed as well as improvements are being made. There are some well known cases were computers where affected by issues due to the OS. Therefore, as a general rule updating the operating system must not be neglected. Verify regularly that your operating system has the latest updates.

If you are pretty sure that your Microsoft outlook is not running slowly owing to a partitioned hard drive or an excessively used CPU, in addition to various mal wares, then get your MO checked for its slow functioning. There is a great chance that a professional will suggest to you of certain PST file damage.

Large organizations use a separate personal e-mail system of theirs. They do not want to align to Yahoo or MSN and thus they attach to Microsoft Outlook. However getting the PST loaded beyond the allocated size leads to data erosion. Generally, the size allocation is in the realms of 2 GB.

Once this happens, the PST files are left unusable and the data can hardly be synchronized. Slow functioning of PST files can also be the direct result of removal or corruption of Control data extension add-ins.

Sometimes as an operator, you would see that the outlook freezes decisively. In such an event you must keep shy from closing the system. This only makes the corruption more difficult. PST repair is possible and there are various means to recover data. Disk Doctor’s e-mail recovery (.pst) is a nice tool for applying such emergency measures.

So you finally got your website up, now you are looking for a way to actually monetize your website. Everyone knows the best way to do this is through Google Adsense! There are webmasters who make thousands each months off their websites using ad sense. Yet there are others who are struggling to earn a “few pennies”. If you are going to be successful using ad sense you have to do it right.

Here are 3 ways proven by successful webmaster to increase your ad sense earnings:

1. One way is to use one format for all of your ad sense ads. The format that works for the majority of webmasters is the Large Rectangle (336X280). This format has appealed to a lot of people because it looks like an regular web link and not like an advertisement.

2. When creating a palette for your ad sense ads you want to make sure they blend in with the color of your website. Why? This will make the ad look like it is apart of your website, leading to more clicks from people, which maximizes your earnings.

3. Instead of having your ad sense ads at the bottom of your webpage, move your ads to the top. At the top, people that visit your website will be able to see it, and you will be surprise how many will actually click on them.

These are just a few simple ways you can make more money with ad sense through your website. If you follow just two of the advice given here you can definitely increase your ad sense earnings. I guarantee you. Go ahead and give it a shot.

There are a number of different types of streaming video players. In order to determine the best streaming video players, we would need to look at the different qualities and characteristics of each of the video players. In many cases, individuals may not realize that streaming video does not just exist on the internet. To be honest, a lot of us have been using streaming video almost all of our lives. This is because the television and the television stations and channels will connect to the television set, and play a video that is being constantly transmitted from the station or channel tower.

Television is one of the most popular types of streaming video, but it does not use a streaming video player, it uses the individual television set. In order to look at the best streaming video players, we have to return to the internet in order to determine in an objective manner the best streaming video players for the individual. Sometimes, what a person is looking for will help to determine which type of video player is best for this person. There are more high quality streaming video players, and then there are ones that are not as high quality, yet still effective. In matters like these, it will likely depend quite a bit on what the individual wants and needs from their streaming video players. Once this is determined, the individual will likely be able to make a good decision about which streaming video player they want to use.

Windows Media Player is a streaming video player, among its other capabilities of playing videos and different mediums, that is already installed on an individual’s computer in most instances. Due to the fact that it is already on the computer, it is one of the best streaming video players since it is so convenient and easy for the individual to use. It already represents the default media player for the individual. There are other video players that can be used when it comes to viewing streamed videos, but the fact of the matter is that in most cases these are not already installed on the computer. Instead, in order to use them, the individual will need to download them off of the internet in order to use them for streaming video viewing purposes. Some of these media players are the Quicktime Viewer and Real Media Player. These are both very easy to use, but the fact still remains that for the most part the Windows Media Player is one of the best streaming video players simply because of its convenience and also the player’s capability to be used by a novice computer user.

Its design is very simple and the other players can be a little more complicated for individuals that may not be terribly familiar with the computer and the programs on the computer. However, for individuals that are familiar with the computer, Quicktime can be slightly better in quality when it comes to viewing the streamed videos that the individual wants to watch. The results of the best streaming video players may be left up to the capabilities of the computer user in general.

Do you know what the main purpose of a social networking website is? If you are an avid internet user, you likely do. Social networking websites are online communities that make it easier for internet users to meet and communicate with each other. If you are an internet user who enjoys using the internet to meet new people, there is a good chance that you already belong to a social networking website. What about an online blog? Do you have one of them? If you do, do you know that you could use your social networking website to promote your blog?

Promote your blog? Why would you want to do that? Honestly, if you have to ask yourself that question you probably shouldn’t even have one. The whole purpose of a blog is to document your thoughts, views, and opinions on a particular topic, issue, or subject. What good will your blog do if no one reads it. In addition to sharing your thoughts with the rest of the world, did you know that you could also make money from your blog? You can signup for affiliate programs or other programs like Google Adsense. If you are using your blog to make money then you will defiantly want to promote it.

When it comes to promoting blogs, there are many blog owners who decide to let the search engine do the work for them. Search engines, such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN use special techniques that reads the content on your website. That content is then used to rank your website with particular keywords. This means that you run a blog on graduating from high school in New York, there is a good chance that your blog will appear in searches done on New York high schools. Although many blogs are successfully ranked in search engines, not all are. That is why you are advised against relying solely on search engines, when it comes to promoting your blog.

As previously mentioned, if you love meeting with or talking to people online, there is a good chance that you belong to a social networking website or community. The individuals that you talk to and that are in your community are likely the individuals that you wish to target. Since most social networking websites work to connect internet users who have the same goals and common interests, there is a good chance that your online friends will enjoy reading your blog. But, before they can read your blog, you have to let them know that it exists.

When it comes to promoting your blog on social networking websites, you have a number of different options. Your first option is to include a link to your blog in your community profile or profile page. This will allow other community members to checkout your blog, only if they wish to do so. The other way is to inform your online friends of your blog through private messages. Once you join a social networking website and create or join a network of friends, you should easily be able to communicate with those friends. Sending each of your friends a private message with information and a link to your blog tends to be more effective than just placing a link in your profile or on your profile page.

Although there is a good chance that you are already a member of a popular social networking website, you may not be. If you are not already a member, but would like to become one, you will need to find a social networking website to join. This can easily be done with a standard internet search. In your search, you will likely find a number of popular network sites, such as MySpace, Facebook, FriendFinder, Yahoo! 360, and Orkut. Before becoming a community member at one of these networking sites, you may want to first examine the website to ensure that it is everything that you want it to be.

As you can easily see, there are a number of different ways that you can go about promoting your blog on online social networking websites. You never known, but, in addition to promoting your blog, you may also make new friends along the way.

First and foremost, DON’T FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE EMAIL! If you think there might be a problem, access the account in question as you normally do on your PC and not with the link supplied in the phony email.

I’ve had some very authentic looking email supposedly from banks, that even went so far as to copy the colors of the bank logo and stationery style. But, don’t fall for the scam. In fact, don’t even open the email, because many are just set to loose a virus program on your computer by being opened. Simply forward the suspicious email to the “spoof email” address supplied by your bank, or credit card company.

Nearly 10 million Americans fell prey to identity theft last year, costing businesses and individuals billions of dollars. Here are some other tips to help you:

Understand debit card dangers: Greater liability than credit cards. When it comes to fraud, debit cards carry much greater personal liability than credit cards, depending on how quickly you report the loss of the card. If you fail to report unauthorized use within 60 days of receiving your bank statements, you could lose all the money in the account and be held responsible for the amount of money that has been tapped from your line of credit.

Rethink check writing: That little slip of paper has way too much information. Some experts advise against check writing because it gives away your address, bank account number, signature and license number to complete strangers. On top of that, there’s no federal legislation to limit your liability for forged checks (each state has its own set of rules). Experts advise that you look into automating your bill paying.

Secure your mail: Your mailbox is a goldmine of information. Between bank statement, bills, and all those pre-approved credit card offers, your mailbox is loaded with personal data which identity thieves can use to easily apply for a credit card in your name. Unless you diligently check your credit report, you may never even know about it. One way to avoid this is to have your mailbox under lock and key, but most of us in Santa Clarita have our mailboxes at the curb in front of our house and the postman frowns on carrying dozens and dozens of keys around. The other solution is to have a rented mailbox, or to foil “dumpster-diving” thieves by buying a shredder and destroy documents before discarding.

Go virtual: For shopping online, there are “virtual” card numbers. These are randomly generated credit card numbers that are disposable and that on-line shoppers use once and throw away. It’s linked directly to your real credit card account so purchases show up on your monthly bill. The service is easy to use – and it’s FREE! All you need to do is register with companies offering the virtual card, and they are MBNA, Discover, and Citigroup.

Create an emergency identity kit: Would you know how to contact your credit card company in an emergency? Create an emergency kit that contains: your account number, expiration date, issuing company name, and emergency contact number for each card you own. While you’re at it, make copies of your driver’s license, social security card, birth certificate and passport and store them in a locked box or file cabinet, or a safe deposit box. I like the safe deposit box best, because this gives you protection in the event of a catastrophe such as fire, earthquake, etc.

This may all seem like a lot of unnecessary work, but if you’re ever the victim of identity theft – even just once – you’ll realize that it’s well worth the effort.

Many of us forget that were it not for what we carry in our wallets or in our purses, we’re all John and Jane Doe’s if we can’t speak due to injury or are unaccompanied by someone who knows us. How much less stressful is it to know that in a bank box, no matter where you are, there are items that can verify your identity. Better to be safe, than sorry!

You have finished making your own website. You have introduced your company and presented your products and services.
*Free promotions such as directories and search engines would give your web site the deserved traffic you always wanted. Make sure to check your web site’s ranking to know whether or not this type of free promotion is right for you.

*Free and low-cost internet banners are spread all through out the World Wide Web. Banners that pop-up at the top of a page or in a separate window would automatically catch your target audience’s attention.

If your web site and its free promotion did not work even after accomplishing these methods, analyze your web site. Track down all visitors, advertisements, and transactions. Then locate errors in your web site. Upload new files to your web site continuously for audience to return for new products and services. Monitor your own web site if it’s up in the market or down.

Then be ready to try the methods again and surely it will work.
