Libdronians are not aliens. They are not fishes, plants or trees… In fact they are library drones , a tiny tribe of homo sapiens, living on the other side of The Thin Red Line . A few days back I’ve been voluntarly abducted (oh, really?
) by Alan, the drone emperor, and “one of the oodles of bears in the Pacific Northwest”.
Once I get there I realised in no time why the drones are keep coming back to their nest, the libdrone blog. If reading a book is a necessity for any educated person, reading a book review is more important as it helps to decide what book to read. The layout, the colours, makes from Libdronia a pleasant place to satisfy your book-ish needs.
From “Monday Muddling” to “Guns, Friends and Fears” , everything it’s “Sweet, Spicy and Saucy” no matter how hard I tried to find a little nasty thing to comment. The posts are friendly, easy and well written and that’s not a compliment by the way… The Blogosphere should be proud to have this blog around (well, that’s a compliment!
)
This was a happy and lucky abduction as I just found a new blog to visit from time to time. I’ve left Libdronia, but not before checking the Alexa rankings…hmm…sad question… why does the good blogs get always less traffic than the crappy ones?
Well done, Alan! Keep up the good work!
I think the best blogs get less traffic because they aren’t about blogging. It seems most people who want to start blogging for cash start a blog about . . . blogging for cash. Then, in an effort to build links to their blog so they can make cash, and then blog more about blogging for cash, they visit other blogs about blogging for cash, leaving comments hoping readers who want to make cash blogging with their blogs about blogging for cash will read the comment and follow the link to the other blog about cash. Soon, you have thousands of blogs about blogging for cash and each of those bloggers visiting the other blogs about cash. Viola! Now you have a “popular” blog.
This is one of my favorite blogs, so I’m glad you gave him a darn good review
Congrats Alan!
