Everyone knows about the so called “RSS contest” between the evil marketing master, Shoemoney, aka “Send me a T-Shirt in exchange for a link” and the Lord of the Taverns, John Chow, aka “I’ll eat your money in the finest restaurants and I’ll show you how”.

with me for a minute and I’ll tell you why there is actually no contest between them but an evil marketing campaign meant to attract thousands of subscribers and to create a “buzz” from which guess who’s going to benefit?
Both of them launched contests for their army of subscribers, but guess what? None of them is actually paying a cent thanks to their faithful readers. Free prizes? Yeah, baby! Free advertising? Sure, why not? Here is Shoemoney’s contest and here is Chow’s - freebies for everyone!
Do you really think it’s just a contest? Do you think they care who’s gonna win? Naah… at the end they are both winners with thousands of extra subscribers, no one loose from this mad linkbait campaign. People subscribe, people write about, people link, people pay for prizes…and the winners are…

Yesterday I read a very interesting review of so-called TripleCD project on Chow`s blog.
They want to borrow money from you via Paypal and then gamble them.
The link to their page leads to American Red Cross.
I was really rolling on the floor laughing at it.
I wonder why I can`t make $20,000 a month blogging.
Maybe I should write how healthy it is to eat a spoon of washing powder in the morning ?
